Bell KC3-CMR Kart Helmet

In September 2008, Bell Racing was the first manufacturer in the world to certify a helmet to the new CMH standard, developed jointly by the FIA Institute and the Snell Memorial Foundation. Adult helmets tend to be too heavy and too big for younger drivers. The new Snell-FIA CMH standard has been scientifically developed to create helmets designed for all young racing drivers. Researcher examined and measured the human head from age six onwards and several helmet shapes and sizes were defined. It led to the creation of a Youth Helmet Standard that will soon have to be attained by all young drivers helmets.

The new KC3 helmet offers a reduced weight thanks to the lightweight Carbon/Kevlar/Glass (Tri-Weave) shell specifically homologated for each size. The leading edge design is based on the RS3 HP3's advanced aerodynamics. Top and chin bar ventilation and optional tiop spoiler intake (available seperately) give optimised air flow. Also features the Bell Racing SV visor pivot mechanism.
